Our Story
In 1987, the IT industry was in its infancy. An enterprising Adrian Di Marco saw an opportunity to build a new generation of financial software for businesses and government departments.
At the time, banks wouldn't support this pioneering startup, determined to take on global software giants. Adrian turned to a friend who had made his fortune in leather processing. So it was a demountable office in the car park of a hide factory in the industrial suburbs of Brisbane that Australia's largest enterprise software company, TechnologyOne, was founded.
Now TechnologyOne is an ASX-200 company with 14 offices around the world, employing over 1,000 staff and investing over $41 million in Australian innovation in 2015. Adrian's incredible contributions to the Australian IT industry and business community have been recognised through many awards.
